Sarvam AI launches Epoch Builder Edition platform for India-centric AI models

Sarvam AI launched Epoch Builder Edition, a developer and enterprise platform providing access to base models, training infrastructure, datasets, and deployment tools focused on Indian languages and use cases. The platform includes new 7-billion and 70-billion parameter multilingual LLMs trained on 2 trillion tokens supporting more than 10 Indian languages, along with GPU clusters, RLHF, instruction tuning, API access, on-premises options, and curated datasets for law, governance, and finance. It aims to reduce dependence on overseas models and will enter private preview in August 2026 with general availability in the fourth quarter of 2026.
