Google DeepMind and Google Cloud grant European researchers access to frontier models plus $3 million in compute credits

Google DeepMind and Google Cloud announced access for up to 200 European scientific researchers to frontier models and scientific tools, accompanied by $3 million in compute credits. The program targets complex research challenges including weather prediction and molecular mapping. It expands academic and scientific access outside commercial API channels.
