Meta releases Muse Spark Open 816B open-weight model

Meta released the weights of Muse Spark Open, an 816-billion-parameter multimodal mixture-of-experts model with 42 billion active parameters and a 1-million-token context window. The model is optimized for coding and agentic tasks and can run locally on two Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios via MLX. Weights are available on Hugging Face and major cloud platforms under the Muse Model License, expanding high-capability open-weight access from a major US lab.
