OpenAI released LifeVal, a benchmark constructed from time-use surveys and a large user poll that evaluates AI performance on practical everyday tasks such as childcare coordination, healthcare navigation, and personal-finance workflows. The evaluation is designed to track progress toward agentic personal assistants that complete real actions rather than only generate advice. Official results show substantial gains relative to earlier models on the same task set.
