Anthropic and NEC partner for AI-native engineering at scale in Japan

NEC will deploy Claude to approximately 30000 Group employees worldwide and become Anthropics first Japan-based global partner. The collaboration includes joint development of secure industry-specific AI products for Japanese finance manufacturing and local government customers plus internal Center of Excellence training and integration into NEC cybersecurity and BluStellar offerings. This expands enterprise-scale Claude adoption and localized product development in the Japanese market under explicit safety and reliability requirements.
