Anthropic hires Google TPU veteran Amir Salek for in-house silicon push

Anthropic hired Amir Salek, who previously led Google’s tensor processing unit programme through its first seven generations, to join its compute team as the company builds an in-house semiconductor capability. Anthropic already sources chips from Nvidia, Google and Amazon and has begun related hiring.
