Anthropic plans change to enterprise data retention policy for advanced models

Anthropic plans to modify its enterprise data retention policy so that customers using its more powerful Fable and Mythos models (and future frontier models) can retain the required 30-day traffic data on their own cloud infrastructure rather than solely with Anthropic. The change follows the June requirement for 30-day retention to monitor cyber risks and comes after coordination with more than 100 customers including Salesforce. A new safety system is expected later this year. The adjustment responds to enterprise concerns over data control while preserving security monitoring capability.
