Gartner forecasts securing AI market to reach $4.8 billion in 2027

Gartner projected the market for securing AI will reach nearly $4.8 billion in 2027, a 68.7 percent increase from 2026, and approach $7.7 billion by 2028. Growth is attributed to rising threats such as access-control weaknesses and prompt injection against AI agents. AI application security and AI usage control are identified as the largest and fastest-growing segments.
