Google DeepMind releases AlphaGenome Atlas of 9 billion DNA variants
Editorial Analysis
Google DeepMind published AlphaGenome Atlas, a ~1-petabyte precomputed database of predicted molecular effects for all ~9 billion possible single-nucleotide variants in the human genome. The resource includes AlphaGenome Variant Impact scores and is available via web portal (no coding required) for non-commercial research, with commercial access planned via Google Cloud. This substantially lowers barriers to genome-scale variant interpretation for disease and trait research.
