Microsoft designates India South Central as AI strategic hub for Asia and Global South

Microsoft announced that its new Hyderabad-based India South Central datacenter region is live with AI-ready capabilities and has been designated a strategic hub for Asia and the Global South. The region features a three-zone architecture, supports Azure and AI services with progressive rollout, and aligns with Indian data-protection and cybersecurity requirements. Leading Indian enterprises have already signed on, advancing Microsoft’s broader India infrastructure commitment.
