NVIDIA agrees to acquire Hugging Face for $12.93 billion

NVIDIA announced an agreement to acquire Hugging Face for $12,930,300,000. Hugging Face will remain an open platform supporting open-source and open-weight models from any builder, multi-cloud and multi-accelerator development, without requiring NVIDIA compute. The platform hosts more than 3 million models, 500,000 datasets and 1 million applications used by over 18 million developers and 200,000 companies.
