NVIDIA announces Jetson Orin Nano 2 entry-level edge AI robotics computer

NVIDIA introduced the Jetson Orin Nano 2 robotics computer, delivering twice the inference performance of its predecessor in the same form factor while consuming 40 percent less power at equivalent performance. The platform provides 78 TOPS of AI compute, 8 GB of memory and an 8-core Arm CPU, targeting entry-level edge AI for robots, drones and vision systems. Availability of the module and developer kit is expected in the first half of 2027, expanding access to frontier-class generative AI performance at the edge.
