Nvidia partners with six Wall Street giants on platforms to raise over $500 billion for AI compute infrastructure

August 10, 2026 · High importance · Infrastructure

Nvidia signed memorandums of understanding with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR to establish financing platforms aimed at mobilizing more than $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure. The platforms are intended to help hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, enterprises, governments and cloud providers access Nvidia-based compute at scale for data-center build-outs, treating GPUs and related infrastructure as longer-duration, usage-linked, revenue-generating assets. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the company has the option to backstop up to $125 billion (25%) of the potential deals. Specific financial terms, individual firm commitments and deployment timelines were not disclosed. The announcement reflects the scale of capital required to expand AI compute capacity and the growing involvement of large institutional investors in funding the build-out.
