xAI releases Grok Voice Transcribe 2.0 speech-to-text model

xAI released Grok Voice Transcribe 2.0, reporting roughly double the accuracy of version 1.0 at unchanged pricing of $0.10 per hour batch and $0.20 per hour streaming. The model ranks first among 32 streaming speech-to-text systems on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard and supports multilingual detection with mid-recording language switches. Existing API integrations receive the upgrade without code changes.
