Z.ai releases GLM-5.3-Flash open-weight multimodal model under MIT license

Z.ai (formerly Zhipu AI) released GLM-5.3-Flash, a 320B-total / 18B-active natively multimodal MoE model with a 1-million-token context window under an MIT license, with weights available on Hugging Face. The model had previously run anonymously as “Ox Alpha” on third-party platforms and was served entirely on Chinese AI chips. It targets competitive coding and agentic performance at significantly lower cost than prior GLM releases.
