Contribute to DataGuy
DataGuy is an independent editorial platform publishing original, long-form writing on data, analytics, AI systems, leadership, information design, and decision-making.
We publish writing that sits between research and practice — reflective, systems-oriented, and grounded in real inquiry.
Who This Is For
We welcome contributions from:
- Independent researchers and scholars
- Practitioners with hands-on experience
- Professionals thinking deeply about systems and outcomes
You do not need an academic affiliation. You do need clarity of thought.
What We Publish
We are interested in writing that:
- Examines how data and AI systems behave in real contexts
- Explores trade-offs, constraints, and failure modes
- Focuses on interpretation, not immediacy
- Values clarity over performance or hype
- Treats leadership as a thinking discipline, not a title
What We Do Not Publish
- Promotional or marketing content
- Tool reviews or comparisons
- SEO-driven listicles
- Sponsored or affiliate pieces
- AI-generated filler or lightly edited outputs
