Unsloth Desktop beta launches as free open-source local model runner and trainer

Unsloth released Unsloth Desktop in beta, a free open-source desktop application for running and training AI models locally on macOS, Windows and Linux. The app supports LLMs, diffusion image and video models, audio, GGUF, MLX and fine-tuning with reduced VRAM use. It includes sandboxed tool calls, agent connections such as Claude Code and Codex, unlimited private web search, and remote access via Cloudflare tunnels, expanding local AI capability without cloud dependency.
