OpenAI partners with Ironclad to advance AI computer use on contracting tasks

OpenAI announced a research collaboration with Ironclad focused on training and evaluating AI agents on complex professional contracting workflows. GPT-6 Astra, the first frontier model trained on these tasks, achieved a 32% higher average score and 48% lower estimated time per attempt versus GPT-5.6 Sol across 11 defined tasks spanning legal, commercial, and procurement work.
